I am not saying there aren’t some terrible single mothers out there, nor am I proclaiming that remarkable co-parenting fathers do not exist. I’m here to simply say that we are a society that at times does not fairly consider or sincerely appreciate the reality of being a single mother.
Regardless of your family dynamic or structure, don’t let the title discourage you from picking it up, this book is not just a handy resource for “dads”or the “biological father”, but for anyone helping raise a child.

Beyond making sure your partner (or co-parent) and child are never in need or want of anything: diapers, formula, clothes, etc, the importance of simply being present and participatory in all aspects of (co-)parenting can never be overstated.
