Product Review: Pampers Aqua Pure Sensitive Water Baby Diaper Wipes

My fiance has very sensitive skin. And so, whether it's skin care, body washes, or laundry detergent, she has always made it a point to try find products that are hypoallergenic and free of chemicals that may cause her irritation: our baby's products were held to the same standards and expectations.

My fiance has very sensitive skin. And so, whether it’s skin care, body washes, or laundry detergent, she has always made it a point to try find products that are hypoallergenic and free of chemicals that may cause her irritation.

And when our little one came along, his products were not spared the same scrutiny either. One such area of scrutiny was focused on baby wipes. She wanted something that was water based and had no alcohol, no parabens which studies show have links to cancer, no fragrance and was of course, gentle on his skin without compromising the effectiveness of what it was designed for: wiping poop and pee.

The baby wipes product that checked all these boxes and we now go with almost religiously were the Pampers Aqua Pure Sensitive Water Baby Diaper Wipes. These wipes are:

  • Made with with 99% pure water;
  • Made without parabens, dyes, or fragrances;
  • Made with gentle cleansers, pH balancing ingredients and preservatives (to help protect your wipes from contamination).
  • Made with premium cotton, regenerated cellulose and polyester for a soft and gentle clean against baby’s skin.
  • Free of ethanol or drying alcohol.

They are an amazing product and seem to do the job well.

Final Score: 5/5

Recommended Accessory: Wipe Warmer

I would recommend getting a Wipe Warmer. You can imagine how it must suck for newborns and infants to be wiped by a cold wipe every time they need a diaper. We went with the Munchkin Warm Glow Wipe Warmer although there are many other brands out there. We just picked what was the cheapest and had the highest number of reviews and rating.

Pampers Alternative

There were times when the Pampers Aqua Pure Sensitive Water Baby Diaper Wipes were unavailable or sold out on Amazon (if they are available, do not dilly-dally, head straight to checkout). This scarcity could have been a result of the coronavirus impact. Regardless of the reason, we had to find an alternative product whenever the Pampers Aqua Wipes were unavailable, and the WaterWipes Unscented Baby Wipes were the next best thing. They fragrance free and contain just two ingredients according to the manufacturer: 99.9% water and a drop of grapefruit sees extract.

Sincerely,

This New Dad,
